Six things every Network Marketer MUST have!

So you’ve joined a network marketing business, good for you! Now it’s time to make sure you become a real network marketing success story. There are a few tools of the trade that every home based business owner must have in order to really succeed in their business. But do you know what they are? If not, don’t worry, I’m going to outline each of them for you. So keep reading and get ready to have massive success working from home!

#1. A cell phone

The cell phone really is the network marketers best friend. It allows you to take care of business even while you’re living your normal everyday life. That means, you don’t have to be in front of your desk to take important calls, train your team or sign people up!

While it’s sometimes nice to have an office or business number many network marketers find simply having their cell phone with them is all they need to effectively conduct business throughout the day. Also, you’ll want to make sure that your plan has lots of minutes and your coverage is complete enough so that you won’t be dropping calls all the time.

#2. A good computer

It’s been said that all you need to have to run your home based business is a cell phone and a laptop. I say it doesn’t even have to be a laptop (although that can be helpful). All you really need is a good reliable computer.

Gone are the days of paper applications! Almost every network marketer can now sign up new customers and business partners right on their computer. It makes for a paperless business and a much simpler way to organize things. No network marketing business owner should ever be without a computer.

#3. A weekly schedule

Just because you can work when you want and where you want, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a work schedule. Keeping a schedule allows you to make sure you’re really working as much as you need to be every week. Everyone is busy these days, so unless you schedule some time in every week to work your business, chances are you might not be getting the most out of your network marketing business and success will take a lot longer!

#4. Basic knowledge of the internet

You don’t have to be an internet guru to work from home. You will, however, need to know a few basic things. Learn how to use your email account flawlessly. Nothing says to people you’re a newbie like sending a poorly formatted or incorrect email. Also learn how to create documents and save them to your desktop this will help keep you organized.

Finally, there are many, many ways to market your business online. You don’t have to master them all right away but get comfortable with internet marketing it’s the way of the future!

#5. A game plan

You should never set any kind of goal without knowing how to reach it. So many people join a home based business with the dream of making $75,000 or $150,000 a year but they have absolutely no idea how to get there and that’s a huge mistake.

Before you start your network marketing business you should always have a game plan. If you’ve already been in your business for a while, no problem, it’s never too late to make one!

#6. An accountability partner

Whether it is your spouse, your up-line, cross-line or just a good friend, having someone to lift you up and at the same time hold you accountable is incredibly important for any home business owner. They will help you to feel better when you’re down and work when you feel like being lazy. No matter how motivated you are, an accountability partner is a must!
