Are You Hurting Your Chances For Success In Your Home Based Business?
Could you possibly be hurting your chances for success in your home based business and not even know it? Check out the 5 top reasons in this article to find out what you could be doing to harm your business!
#1. Being embarrassed of your business
If you’re not proud and excited about your business, why should anyone else be? When you talk to people about your home based business, you have to speak with authority and excitement. When people ask you what you do for a living, it is a perfect opportunity to tell them about your business. So don’t be shy!
I see so many people speak about their business like it’s some sort of shameful, horrible thing. Now why would anyone want to be in your business if you present it like that?
#2. Not tracking your progress
Business owners have to track their progress to know how close they are to their goals and what it is going to take to get them the rest of the way. As a home based business owner, you should be doing the same thing. If you’re not tracking your progress, you’re hurting your business!
#3. Not listening to the leaders
If there is someone in your home business opportunity who is making 6 or 7 figures and you’re not, doesn’t it just make sense that you should be listening to them and doing what they’re doing?
It’s astonishing the amount of people who won’t simply follow what the successful people are doing. After all, if you’re not successful yet and they are, they have to know something, right?
#4. Not working enough
Working a couple hours a week isn’t enough to build a successful home business. You don’t have to work your fingers to the bone, but you have to get in there and work consistently, about 10 – 15+ hours a week, or it’s not even worth it to be in the business.
#5. Not enjoying the process
Working your home based business should be FUN! OK, so it won’t be fun all the time–but it should be a lot of the time. If you’re not having fun along the way, then you’re not doing it right. If you really want to be successful, you have to learn to enjoy the process. That’s what will keep you in the game long enough to start making the good money!
