How To Build A Home Based Business With Virtue And Esteem
Honesty and integrity are two things that are all too often lost in the business world. However, building your home based business with integrity is one of the best things you can do for your business.
So how do you build a business with integrity and still make a great income? After all, the business world is a dog eat dog world, right?
One thing you can always do is be honest with the people you talk to. There is nothing sadder than someone who honestly believes they are going to make money from home when the truth is they probably won’t.
I’ve spoken to women on the phone who state they only have 1 or 2 hours a week to devote to working their business and they ask me if they can still be successful.
The truth is your chances of building a good income working only a couple of hours a week is very, very small. Can it be done? Sure, but it’s not going to be easy and the people you talk to deserve to know that.
So deciding that you are always going to be honest with people is a great way to build your business with integrity.
Another thing that is extremely important when building your business is to always give credit where credit is due.
If you didn’t come up with an idea, don’t take credit for it. Don’t steal things that don’t belong to you like articles and videos (plagiarizing is never cool). Always acknowledge the people who helped you get where you are.
I’ve seen many network marketers stand up on stage and accept an award without ever thanking the people who helped them get there. They want to pretend like they did it all on their own.
Sometimes having integrity means having the guts to say “I never would have been able to do this without…”
People will respect you more because they know you’re not being fake or trying to pretend like you’re better than you really are. People want to be in business with humble people. Nobody likes a gloater.
When you build a business with integrity you will build a home based business that will last a lifetime and beyond.
